iMac (Graphics?) Issue
Ever since I did the Leopard Graphics Update, my iMac has had a weird little issue when exiting full-screen programs (such as World of Warcraft, Parallels…). As a picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll just post some pics here.
My iMac is the 24″ Jan ‘07 model with the following specs:
- 2.33 Ghz Core 2 Duo
- 2GB of RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT
If anyone else is having similar issues, let me know in the comments.

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago, here is an image. I figured why not run up to the Apple Store; I was having a couple of other issues, HDD clicking and some keyboard issues. Anyways, the picture of my monitor really turned some heads and was enough of an issue for them to give me a new machine : )
I had bough a new MBP right after Macworld when they were not updated so this was a welcomed replacement with the new trackpad and Penyrn Intel Chip.

Oh, wow…
Unfortunately (or fortunately, I guess!), I’m not having any other issues and this problem occurs very sporadically, so I’m not sure whether it warrants a trip to an Apple Store while lugging the giant thing with me.
Cool pic and I’m glad you got yours sorted!

Yeah man! I was trying to tuck away a grin the whole time after “we’ll just grab you a new machine.”

I know why you don’t want a new one… La la la!
Anyway, I thought you were in Vegas? If so, how’s it going? If not, how was it?

@Clay: I can only imagine. I remember when I dropped my PowerBook G4 in the bath… Yeah, that’s right…
When I took it to an Apple Store and they said, “We’ll just get you a new one…”, I couldn’t stop smiling.
@Daniel: I’m still in Vegas, aye. It’s going great! I actually won at Blackjack and walked away with money… it was sod all money, but I still walked away with +$32. My step dad, sitting next to me at the table, lost $200. Got some decent photos too, which you can check out at flickr (at least some of them).
I had this post written just before I left for Vegas but only just got the time to sit down and post it.
