Wii NiGHTS
I didn’t realise that the Wii was getting one of the best games from the Sega Saturn. Yes, NiGHTS is coming to the Wii.
For those of you who don’t remember, or never played it, NiGHTS into Dreams had you following two children as they entered a dream world. Here, you controlled a purple-attired being known as NiGHTS who flew through stages in a stunning mix of 2D and 3D environments.The colours were so vibrant and the gameplay was oddly addictive. I can only hope that the Wii builds on the gameplay making full use of the Wii remote. The games we’ve received so far for the Wii really do seem to overuse the fact that it can handle motion sensors, for example Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has you sitting there thrusting your hand up and down for quite some time; not fun and you get some odd looks. Fortunately the games for the Wii are incredibly colourful and vibrant, which would suit NiGHTS completely.Check out a screenshot of this game for the Wii, from Japan. I really can’t wait to get hold of this one!
