It’s Tea Time
For quite some time now I’ve been meaning to get into tea. During my school days (high school, I guess), I really liked my coffee. I needed it when I woke up and then again when I arrived at school. I guess that’s what I get for only having three to four hours a sleep per night. I’ve never liked the taste of tea, though. Even though sometimes I’ll have biscuits and tea at some point during the day, I won’t drink the tea, I’ll have a separate drink and just use the tea to dunk my biscuits.
I do, however, like green tea. When I go to a local Chinese restaurant, I always ask for it with dessert. So I thought I’d give the green tea thing a go! I did a little browsing around and eventually came across Adagio Teas. Their website design caught my eye first, as it does look very nice but it was their vast collection that spurred me to order from there. I spoke to one of my room mates and they said they’d join me, so together we spent over $170 on different types of tea. I went for the green teas and white teas and he went for black.
Living in the United Kingdom, we expected the teas to take quite some time to be delivered. However, they arrived just four days later! I’m really impressed with the service. I had my first cup last night of a tea named “dragonwell” and I have to say it did taste good! The style of the thing that feels pretty cool, too; it’s not just throw a tea bag in a cup and add water. Hopefully I’ll really get in to this and be able to drop my usual biscuits and tea, which will be a lot better for me.
Time for tea!
(Edit note: I apologise to anyone who read this post via an RSS viewer. I had a network drop-out during the post and it seemed to have posted it twice. One version was faulty, too, so it seems a bit of a mess. I do apologise.)

My parents have been avid tea drinkers all throughout my childhood; but I never got into it. I’m more of a coffee person.
Ans nups, there was no double entry for me on RSS.

I’m a coffee person at heart, I think. I’m just really going to give this a go! Hehe.
Thanks for letting me know about the lack of a double entry. Must have just been me!

Green and white tea are lovely. Rooibos tea is good too.

I was just reading yesterday about this, and thought you might find it interesting seeing as you’re giving this tea thing ago. Click: http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=healthNews&storyid=2007-01-09T002337Z_01_L08837814_RTRUKOC_0_US-TEA.xml
