Taking the pi… Wii
This is just a short, little note in regards to my Wii preorder. A good few weeks back I preordered a Wii and was actually getting quite excited about owning this little thing. I hadn’t really thought about which games I was going to get, but of course the new Zelda was definitely on the list! I preordered from HMV, with a £30 deposit and they said I could drop in and collect my Wii on the eighth of December. The night before that, however, HMV phone my girlfriend to say, “Sorry, we don’t have enough in stock. We also, unfortunately, cannot hold any for you in stock until you return in January so you’ll have to pick it up when it comes in”.
Right. I live about three hours away from my University and I’m home for the holidays (I don’t live three hours away from it when I’m living down there obviously.. just when I’m back at home), so getting down there and back would be a six hour drive just to pick up the Wii. I’m not sure if I can actually be bothered or not.
Oh well, never mind eh. I’m sure I’ll find other things to distract me.
